At Siberian Cats of MD, we are proud to share our love for this extraordinary breed. From the moment we welcomed our first Siberian kitten into our home, we were captivated by their gentle spirit, intelligence, and strong desire to be near their people. Whether resting a paw on your arm, quietly lounging nearby, or curling up beside you as you work, Siberians have a remarkable way of offering comfort and companionship.

Our cats remain affectionate and playful throughout their lives. Their calm and social nature makes them wonderful family pets who get along beautifully with children and other animals. In fact, the soothing temperaments of our bloodlines have allowed several of our kittens to serve as therapy cats in loving homes.

Our mission has never been about quantity, but rather quality—raising happy, healthy kittens with intention, care, and love. We’re committed to doing right by our cats, our kittens, and the families who welcome them. We work closely with like-minded breeders along the East Coast and across the country, exchanging knowledge and support to continually improve our practices. Over the years, we’ve also developed lasting relationships with breeders from around the world, enriching our understanding of the breed and strengthening our commitment to excellence.

All of our kittens are raised in our home and are an active part of our daily lives. They grow  surrounded by love, affection, and constant socialization, ensuring they are well-adjusted and ready for life with their new families.

Siberians are often described as hypoallergenic, as many people with cat allergies experience little to no reaction to them. This has certainly been our experience within our own household—I personally have cat allergies, yet live comfortably with our Siberians. While their lower allergen levels are a wonderful benefit, it’s their exceptional personality, intelligence, and beauty that truly make this breed stand out.
